Oh my goodness, I can’t believe I haven’t looked this one up previously. This is called Wispr AI. It’s a speech-to-text that records on your computer so you don’t have to type.
I’m using it right now to create this blog post. The funny part is that you have to stop talking before it shows up as text, but once you let go of the buttons on the computer, the text automatically pops up.
So, if you were previously typing about 45-60 WPM, now with the Speech-to-Text application with AI, you can produce 220 WPM.
And I’m seeing it cuts out all the silliness that I say (like “um” and “duh” and “gosh”). (and I said don’t write that, …) It automatically cleans up my speech while I’m speaking and it’s writing it in a really nice manner.
